Reelnest is operated by Nexure LLC (nexure.org). This page explains, in plain language, what we store and why.
What we store
- Your email address and authentication data (via Supabase Auth).
- The links you save, plus what our pipeline extracts from them: transcript, on-screen text, summary, category, tags and entities.
- Your notes, collections and plan/billing status.
What we don't do
- We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We don’t post anything to your social accounts.
- We don’t ask for your Instagram password and never log in as you.
Video handling
To analyze a reel we fetch it temporarily, extract audio and a few frames, and delete the media as soon as processing finishes. We keep the derived text and metadata — not the video file.
Processors we use
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting.
- Stripe — payments. Card details go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
- Resend — sending email (account mail, and digests if you haven’t opted out).
- PostHog — product analytics: which pages and features get used, so we know what to fix. Not sold, not shared with advertisers.
- Sentry — error reporting when something breaks, so we find out before you have to tell us.
- AI providers (OpenRouter / OpenAI / Groq / Anthropic) — transcription and analysis. Content sent to them is limited to what’s needed to analyze a reel.
Browser extension
The Save to Reelnest Chrome extension holds no account credentials and runs nothing in the background on any page. It acts only when you click its icon or choose “Save to Reelnest” from the right-click menu.
At that moment, and only then, it reads the open page’s public og: metadata — title, description and thumbnail — and opens reelnest.pro with the video link so the save happens in your existing signed-in session. It does not read page content beyond that metadata, does not track your browsing, and sends nothing to any third party. It is limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.
Two kinds. Account email — confirming your address, resetting your password, billing receipts — always sends, because it’s the mechanics of your own account. Product email — weekly digests and a note when a reel finishes processing — you can switch off any time, from the unsubscribe link in any of them or from your notification settings in the app.
Your rights
You can delete any saved reel at any time, turn off product email from your settings, and request deletion of your whole account by emailing contact@nexure.org. Deleting your account removes your saves, notes and profile.
